Interview Excerpt with Ibrahim Çelikkol
*What have lost or gained in your life in 2018?
My thoughts, attitudes, words and opinions have changed slightly together with what I lost and gained in 2018 as in every year. I’m in my mid-30s, and I can see my mistakes, my truth, my freedoms, my responsibilities more clearly.
*Barca, your character in the series, is pursuing revenge and justice. What do these concepts mean to you? How fairly do you think we are doing today?
Those who know me, know very well how important the concept of justice is in my life. A fair man puts his head on his pillow every night, free of inner reckoning and he starts every new day with this internalized. I’m just thinking, can you tell me how fair we are doing nowadays?
*There are great traumas in Barca’s past. What was your biggest trauma?
The biggest trauma for Barca was the loss of his closest loved one, his wife. I lost my father, the man I was closest to, at a tender age of experience. (18)
*In your opinion, can these traumas be healed by new relationships and love?
I have never seen better improvement than when I experienced love that is pure and unconditional.

Love is something that makes you powerful as you’re getting old, and I just found out that. Thank you 2018!
*How has your love for your wife Mrs. Mihre, changed you?
Her tranquility and peace calmed my soul.
